Fantastic opportunity to join a well established expanding Telcoms company.



As a member of our clients engineering team you will install and support a large client base of telephone systems Hosted and Traditonal. The role will predominantly be focused on 1st /2nd Line Support Hosted PBX services – Gamma / 3CX / TelcoSwitch. Experience with LG ipecs and Horizon. The successful candidate will also be able to provision, install and troubleshoot required telco services.



This is an interesting and varied role involving office & field based support and maintenance, remote diagnostics, new system installation & commissioning, together with technical support responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for 1st / 2nd line support office and field based

• Responsible for provisioning relevant equipment and services for installations

• Responsible for Installation projects in the field. This will involve pre-installation customer meetings. Full ownership of the installation in the field to completion of the project.

• Responsible for completing remote or onsite service requests and fault diagnostics

• Responsible for processes customer sign off documentation.

• Drive customer satisfaction, reviewing areas of improvements and working with team to ensure processes and procedures are effective and up to date.

• Ensure personal accreditations are up to date and appropriate for work being performed
Skills & Knowledge

• Hosted PBX installation and support

• Knowledge of Gamma Horizon experience with LG ipecs 

• Good understanding of TCP/IP networks including VLANs, ACL, Subnetting, STP, QoS • Familiar with WAN/LAN and SIP technologies.

• Familiar with different types in structured cabling infrastructures.

• Experience in provisioning on WLR3.

• Able to work as a member of a team

• Experience of working to and meeting tight deadlines

• Willingness to learn alternative manufacturer equipment and applications

• Willingness to work overtime when required, both out of hours and weekends

• Good customer service and communication skills

• Full and clean driving license

• Telephony installation and technical support experience.

• Configuration, monitoring and fault finding – routers, switches, ATAs, Handsets.

• Excellent communication skills both orally and written are a prerequisit
