Charge for accommodation: 51 GBP per week

Workplace description: This family-run Lake District hotel has an indoor swimming pool, sauna and steam room, picturesque gardens and free parking. Free WiFi is available in the downstairs public areas and the bedrooms. The hotel has an elevated position and a terrace with stunning views towards Lake Windermere and the mountains beyond. Some rooms also have views towards the lake and mountains. There is also a guest lounge with a log fire and lake views. The bar and grill offers high-quality local produce and homemade dishes.
Main duties and responsibilities: Daily duties will include preparing a wide range of dishes and garnishes for the fine dining restaurant and creating memorable dining experiences for its discerning customers.
As Chef de Partie you will be expected to learn the dishes to the standard set by the Head Chef. At this stage of your career it is understood that you will still be learning and developing your cooking techniques however you will be expected to have excellent knife skills, a strong desire to learn more and the required skills to be able to run your own section. You will be trained to work in all sections of the kitchen and get continuous training.
Essential criteria: Ability to demonstrate kitchen and culinary skills to a high quality level as Chef De partie.
Ability to work under pressure.
Team player and strong team builder.
A high standard of personal presentation
Confident, professional and welcoming personality.
