The Head Chef will be required to lead our kitchen brigade and will have control in everything from food hygiene, stock control, training, resource planning, kitchen management and food preparation. You must be able to demonstrate your creativity and have a good knowledge and understanding of cost control.
Responsibilities:
Has passion, creativity, imagination and inspiration
Strong leadership skills combined with a team player attitude
Highly structured and organised
Level 3 or 4 food hygiene certificate
Excellent organisational and time management skills with an eye for detail and the ability to use own initiative
Ability to work under pressure maintaining a positive can do attitude
Highly motivated with a drive to succeed and be the best
Excellent decision making and influencing skills
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years successful experience as a Head Chef or similar management role within a full-service hotel.
Experience in management of a team.
Standards Driven; specifically in Food & Beverage.
Strong desire to progress and develop your career in hotels.
People leadership and motivation experience.
Proven ability in developing talented employees.
Strong communicator; and comfortable in contributing to the overall hotel strategy.
Ability to develop and build relationships and influence with all levels of the business.
