An exciting opportunity has arisen to elevate a luxury, award winning, wellness destination to the next level of its rapid growth.

As the Retreat Manager, you will collaborate with a dedicated team to deliver an exceptional staycation experience. Your focus will be on promoting healthy living and ensuring guests enjoy the unique atmosphere of our Estate, nestled between the South Coast and the New Forest.

  • 5 days (shift pattern) - Plus on call hours as required.
  • Monday to Friday 9am to 7pm / Saturday to Sunday 9am to 4pm
  • �35K DOE

The Retreat is a stunning Georgian mansion situated in a prime location between Christchurch and the New Forest. This exquisite property boasts 15 en suite bedrooms and a two-bedroom self-catering cottage. It features two beautiful, airy spaces perfect for hosting a variety of classes, including yoga, Pilates, gong baths, Qi Gong, and guided meditation, with approximately 1,000 sessions held annually.

Guests can also enjoy two therapy rooms offering a range of holistic treatments, such as massage, acupuncture, reiki, reflexology, hypnotherapy, and talking therapies. The Retreat's amenities include a Cookery School and an enchanting 'secret walled garden' available for private hire. Additionally, guests can explore the gorgeous gardens, serene lakes, and charming orchard within the Estate grounds.

The ideal candidate for this exciting role as Retreat Manager will be:

  • Exceptional Organisational Skills: Capable of meticulously managing daily business operations to ensure smooth and efficient functioning.
  • Financial Proficiency: Skilled in managing expenses, drafting budgets, and developing comprehensive financial plans and strategies.
  • Attention to Detail: Keen eye for both the overall aesthetics of the Retreat and the critical 'hidden' details such as regulatory compliance, safety, staff workflow, and shift management.
  • Growth-Oriented Mindset: Committed to expanding the business through innovative, hands-on marketing and sales strategies.
  • Experience in Room Revenue Management: Proven expertise in optimising room revenue to maximise profitability.
  • Knowledge of Online Travel Agencies (OTAs): Familiar with the workings and management of OTAs to enhance bookings and guest experiences.
  • Visionary Leadership: Understands the unique opportunity to grow the business within its distinctive atmosphere, taking a proactive and visionary approach to its development.

What we require from you:

  • Educated to at least A level standard - a degree in Hospitality is desirable.
  • Recent experience, of at least one year, in a similar hotel management role
  • Events management experience
  • Licensee experience desirable but not essential
