About the role?
In this role of Housing Officer you will be at the forefront of helping refugees secure stable and suitable housing. You will be responsible for assessing legal housing duties and the provision of temporary accommodation on behalf of West Oxfordshire District Council.
This role will also involve visiting applicants in their homes or temporary accommodation.

Please note this is an office and field based role, there is an expectation that you would be in the Witney offices at least 3 days per week and the requirement to be able to travel across the district
You will need?
GCSEs (5 A-Cs or equivalent, including Maths and English)
Experience of working in a Housing or Homelessness focused service
Experience of working with vulnerable people
Experience of working with people with complex needs
Experience of multi-agency working
Experience recording and dealing with data accurately and effectively
Special Conditions?
Ability to travel throughout the district and to our other Publica offices
