The role
Our client requires an experienced Housing Officer to work with one of their area housing teams. The key responsibilities include:-
* identifying vulnerable residents and working with partner agencies to ensure all residents can live safely and sustain their tenancies
* all areas of Tenancy Management including: successions, assignments mutual exchanges and legal issues, including preparing statements and presenting these at court, boundary disputes and damage to property
* the successful management of anti-social behaviour - proactive case management, negotiation, finding solutions, updating victims and keeping detailed records.
The successful candidate will need to be

• a resilient self-starter who thinks well on their feet in a variety of different, often challenging, situations.We are looking for people who relish a challenge and are able to deal with confrontation.
• An attention to detail is essential.
• You will also need to be creative and demonstrably able to develop solutions to assist residents on our estates.
• The role may involve some out of hours meetings and will also involve lone working. Daily use of a car and a full driving license is essential.
