Housing Support WorkerEast AngliaSupported Housing3 Months35 Hours£17.43LTD / £14.86 PAYE (inc hol) One of the largest housing providers in the UK is recruiting for a Housing Support Worker to provide housing-related support to vulnerable individuals across Norwich and their East of England South Patch, helping them achieve independence and secure long-term accommodation.
THE ROLE Supporting service users with housing and property management, ensuring a safe and successful move-on.
\n- Plan and deliver tailored support and safety plans.
\n- Provide a minimum of two hours of weekly support per service user.
\n- Maintain accurate records on the Resident Record Database.
\n- Conduct weekly property visits to ensure maintenance and cleanliness.
\n- Address and report any incidents of anti-social behaviour.
\n- Collaborate with Probation Services and other agencies.
\n- Assist service users in managing domestic tasks and life skills.
\n
THE CANDIDATE Must have previous experience in a similar housing support role.
\n- Experience in lone working across a wide geographical area.
\n- IT literate and confident in maintaining digital records.
\n- Knowledge of housing legislation and benefits processes.
\n- Ability to work with vulnerable individuals and tailor support accordingly.
\n- Full access to a vehicle and willingness to travel.
\n
THE CONTRACT\n- 40 working hours per week (35 paid, 5 unpaid lunch).
\n- Rotational early and late shifts: 8am–4pm and 2pm–10pm.
\n- Occasional Saturday cover, with a Monday off in return.
\n- 3-month contract.
\n- £17.43 per hour LTD / £14.86 per hour PAYE (inc. holiday).
