Role Overview:



We are seeking a highly motivated and organised HR Administrator to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a keen interest in human resources and a passion for supporting education in a SEND setting. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the administration and support of our HR functions, with a particular focus on recruitment.



Key Responsibilities:




  • Assist with the recruitment process, including job postings, scheduling interviews, and conducting reference checks.

  • Maintain and update employee records and HR databases.

  • Prepare and manage HR documentation, such as contracts, offer letters, and onboarding materials.

  • Support the HR Manager with day-to-day HR tasks and projects.

  • Ensure compliance with school policies and relevant legislation.

  • Act as a point of contact for HR-related enquiries from staff and external candidates.

  • Assist in organising staff training and development programmes.

  • Provide administrative support for performance management processes.

  • Contribute to creating a positive and inclusive workplace culture.



Requirements:




  • Previous experience in an HR administrative role.

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

  • Knowledge of HR best practices and employment legislation.

  • A proactive and flexible approach to work.

  • Experience or interest in working within an educational or SEND setting is desirable.

  • Driver as travelling may be required
