About the Role

Our Thetford operation is a breaded/coated product centre of excellence. As a value added, non-kill site we have no live animals or butchery onsite. It uses best in class equipment, which enables the site to deliver significant environmental benefits. The low-energy building is the flagship development within the 2 Sisters Food Group.

The HR Advisor is a pivotal HR Generalist role, a great opportunity for an experienced HR Advisor with an emphasis on Employee Relations and Case Management, who could eventually progress into a HR Manager position. The role has a strong focus on employee relations but also provides the opportunity to be actively involved in Organisational change and resource management and other areas within Human Resources.

Key Responsibilities

  • Be the first point of contact for ER queries, take the lead to support Managers with Employee Relation cases, while assessing any mitigating potential risk
  • \n
  • Develop effective on-going relationships at all levels, responding to queries directly and influencing managers to follow a best practice approach
  • \n
  • Ensure the accurate monitoring and recording of the case management system.
  • \n
  • Produce required monthly and weekly reports.
  • \n
  • Support the HR team in the administration of the employee cycle processes ensuring that legal compliance is met.
  • \n
  • Contribute to the continuous enhancement of processes, policies and documentation to align with best practice and Legal standards.
  • \n
  • Support the Head of HR in key people strategy projects such a staff surveys and external compliance audits.

About You

\n

The ideal candidate will have proven experience within HR with knowledge of case management, disciplinary and investigation and be flexible to work infrequent / occasional shifts.

Key Requirements

\n
    \n
  • Previous experience in a similar HR role ideally from a fast-paced environment.
  • \n
  • Employee Relations experience is essential (case management, investigation, disciplinary, appeals and grievances)
  • \n
  • Strong people engagement skills
  • \n
  • Agility and quick problem-solving in dynamic, high-pressure environments
  • \n

Monday - Friday, core hours 9am- 5pm
