HR Advisor - Join Our Dynamic UK Team in Belfast



Are you an experienced HR professional passionate about supporting a vibrant consulting division? We are seeking an HR Advisor to join our UK team based in Belfast. If you have a solid background in HR and a keen understanding of best practices, we want to hear from you!



Your Role:



As an HR Advisor, you will:




  • Provide comprehensive advisory support and manage casework, acting as an ambassador for our business.

  • Proactively support day-to-day employee management.

  • Foster effective professional relationships with key stakeholders to establish yourself as a credible advisor.



Key Responsibilities:



HR Support:




  • Serve as a visible and accessible HR contact, maintaining an open-door policy.

  • Provide timely, professional HR advice to stakeholders and line managers, ensuring compliance with employment law and best practices on matters such as: Performance management, Absence management and Employee relations

  • Support the implementation of the company-wide performance review process, including training delivery.

  • Promote and recognize company behaviors.

  • Address HR queries and manage issues across the employee lifecycle, supporting HR Business Partners and HR Directors.

  • Coach and guide line managers on company policies and procedures.

  • Stay updated on current and new employment legislation.

  • Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures.



Casework:




  • Manage day-to-day employee issues proactively, acting as an ambassador for the business.

  • Provide end-to-end case management for employee relations cases, ensuring appropriate application of employment law and timely resolution for:

    • Grievance and disciplinary hearings

    • Probations

    • Capability/performance management

    • Ill-health and absence management



  • Participate in monthly case reviews to identify improvement areas and business trends.

  • Support change initiatives, including acquisitions, restructures, redundancies, TUPE, redeployment, and office closures.

  • Collaborate with HR Business Partners to offer commercially focused advice on employee relations issues.

  • Produce monthly HR reports and statistics.

  • Provide ad-hoc people-related data to assist business directors.

  • Manage staff absence and conduct return-to-work interviews.



Who We're Looking For:




  • HR degree or equivalent experience with CIPD membership

  • Proven HR experience, particularly in managing employee relations.

  • Ability to collaborate with support functions and stakeholders.

  • Experience in a fast-paced HR role, preferably in professional services.

  • Up-to-date knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.

  • Full UK driver's license (travel across UK locations may be required).
