My client who are based in Farnborough are looking for a HR/Human Resources Advisor to join their team. We are looking for candidates who have got experience working in a HR Generalist role, and someone who has got experience in Recruitment. The role of the HR Advisor is to add significant value to the Company to ensure that appropriate business strategies are devised, planned and implemented. �The specific emphasis is on the construction of a companywide approach to the management of people. This HR function develops and implements people management programmes and interventions that result in company improvement, sustainability and profitability through the appropriate resourcing, training, development and reward of its employees. The job holder requires knowledge of all HR processes and procedures and comprehensive professional knowledge of deliver an HR support service
Daily Duties
To deliver a professional internal HR advisor service to managers and employees to promote the HR function through relationship building and coaching managers to increase their capability and confidence in managing people issues
Quarterly 1-2-1s to be held with Managers
Working with managers in the business, interpreting and applying the HR policies and procedures compliantly and legislatively
Assists in the preparation of such reports as are necessary to the functions of the HR department such as flexible benefit provider reports, attrition rates, absence management, disciplinary/grievance, performance management etc. �The job holder will be in contact with managers and other employees on a daily basis to give and receive HR related instruction
The job holder will be the contact with external providers to give and receive information and instructions i.e. recruitment agencies employment law solicitors, flexible benefit providers etc. � �
To manage the recruitment process for both approved and non-approved employees to minimise risks to the business. �
Provide coaching advice and support to managers to increase their people management capability and deal with people and policy related issues in accordance with legislation, HR policy and best practice, balancing policy/best practice with the commercial needs of the business and business risk, e.g. case management (disciplinary, grievance, absence), recruitment
To complete all necessary correspondence, documentation and meetings in accordance with legislative and service requirements
Develop a sound knowledge of employment law and practice, taking personal responsibility for updating HR developments within the HR industry as well as internally
