HR Advisor – 1 Year FTC
HR Advisor / HR Business Partner / Human Resources Advisor required to join a global manufacturer based in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire.
This is a new position where you’ll be joining a collaborative working environment and take ownership of the Production, Sales, Finance and IT business areas. You’ll provide expertise and advice on all matter of employee relations, HR best practice and employment law.
The successful HR Advisor / HR Business Partner / Human Resources Advisor must have a CIPD Level 3 qualification or above with proven HR experience.
This is a 1 year fixed term contract.

Role
Take ownership of the Production, Sales, Finance, and IT business areas
Support the Line Managers with recruitment plans, shortlisting candidates, interviewing, onboarding (including starter letters, contracts, etc)
Provide support on probationary meetings, grievances, investigations, disciplinaries, return to work meetings, sickness review meetings, capability meetings, performance management and appraisals.
Design full job descriptions and person specifications
Use the HR system (iTrent) and assist with project developments
Working collaboratively with Line Managers to ensure they have full support for employee relations, HR best practice and employment law
Draw up Induction programmes
Reporting to the Human Resources Manager
Work closely with hiring managers, L&D and other HR staff
Conduct inductions
Mentor and guide Managers on the company’s HR processes and procedures
Office based in Wellingborough
37.5 hours a week – 8:30am – 5:15pm Monday to Thursday and Friday 8:30am – 1pm Friday

Requirements
Proven experience in a similar HR position – including HR Advisor, HR Business Partner, Human Resources Advisor, HRBP, etc
CIPD Level 3 qualification or above
Any experience within an engineering, manufacturing or production environment would be beneficial
Commutable to Wellingborough, Northamptonshire
