Business Area: Bakery
Location: Highbridge (4 days per week)
Contract: Permanent
Salary: Up to £47k per annum dependent on skill & experience
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm

We're the market leader in the UK fresh prepared food industry - supplying meals, salads, desserts, pizza and bread to leading grocery retailers including Tesco, M&S, Sainsbury's and Waitrose.

We're seeking a dynamic People Partner to collaborate with Line Managers and Senior Leaders, playing a pivotal role in delivering our People Plan across the business. Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Partnering: Work closely with the Senior HRBP to identify and resolve root causes of people challenges, providing expert advice and actionable solutions.
Ethical Leadership: Support ethical compliance including SEDEX audits, modern slavery risk assessments, and ensure alignment with ethical trading standards.
Talent Pipeline Management: Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition team to meet business needs, from recruiting high-calibre hourly workers to supporting internal succession for salaried roles.
Employee Engagement: Coordinate employee surveys, help line managers develop action plans, and drive engagement at every level of the business.
Learning & Development: Work closely with Learning & Development teams to build capability, upskill managers, and ensure we have a strong talent pipeline.
Stakeholder Management: Build relationships with unions, temporary labour providers, and occupational health teams to ensure smooth operations and compliance with company standards.
About you.
Proven Relationship Builder: You can coach, influence, and challenge business partners effectively.
Business Acumen: Strong understanding of business priorities and the role HR plays in achieving success.
Clear Communicator: Ability to convey complex information across all levels, adapting your style to suit the audience.
Proactive Problem-Solver: A pragmatic approach to resolving issues and moving initiatives forward.
Data-Driven: Strong analytical skills to extract, analyse, and present data that informs decisions.
Resilient & Organised: Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, delivering results to tight deadlines.
Project Experience: Proven experience delivering HR-related projects with real business impact.
Stakeholder & Risk Management: Able to judge risk, escalate when necessary, and influence stakeholders at all levels.
