We are looking for a highly personable, and tenacious senior HR leader to help shape the future of a fast-growing international business. Our client is a rapidly expanding international business, known for their entrepreneurial spirit, agile business model and autonomous working environment. They operate globally and have an international workforce of around 400.

\n

You will be responsible for HR strategic projects, HRIS, performance appraisals, succession planning, compensation and benefits, leadership development, employer branding, reward, remuneration and recruitment.

\n

This is a hands-on role - you will not be successful unless you have initiative, drive and are prepared to get involved in every aspect of their operation. You need to be the sort of person who can deliver on strategic projects and quickly gain the respect of the SME and key stakeholders.

\n

You will be supported by a small but experienced team of six HR professionals.

\n

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the executive team to drive the global HR agenda and contribute to business success.
  • \n
  • Engage with and support stakeholders with the development of their international teams.
  • \n
  • Develop and champion a performance-driven culture with a merit-based performance appraisal system.
  • \n
  • Advise on recognition and reward programmes, fostering a culture of excellence.
  • \n
  • Oversee training and career development programs to ensure growth and retention.
  • \n
  • Devise and lead projects aimed at improving HR reporting, processes, and systems.
  • \n
  • Ensure compliance with international employment laws and stay ahead of regulatory changes in all operating regions.
  • \n
  • Develop innovative strategies to attract, engage, and retain world-class talent.
  • \n
  • Working in partnership with the operational management team to ensure effective objective setting & performance reviews.
  • \n
  • Guiding and coaching managers on all employee relations including disciplinary, grievance and performance management.
  • \n
  • Guiding and advising managers on all aspects of international HR laws and regulatory requirements.
  • \n
  • Build and lead a team of HR generalists to provide first-line HR support to the international business.

About you:

\n

\n

You will need to have experience supporting an international HR agenda. You will also lead on policy & procedures, leadership development, reward, HRIS, recruitment and other specific projects.

  • FCIPD or MCIPD qualified and of graduate calibre.
  • \n
  • Experience of working at senior HR Operations Manager level / HR Director level within a commercial environment.
  • \n
  • Experience of working in an international business.
  • \n
  • Strong IT, data and technical skills.
  • \n
  • A superb people manager, experienced in managing, motivating and developing a HR team.
  • \n
  • Have the skills and credibility to effectively coach and advise directors and senior executives.
  • \n
  • Commercially minded with the ability to leverage data and logic in support of making a business case.
  • \n
  • High degree of self-confidence with the ability to challenge.
  • \n
  • Collaborative with an enabling coaching style.
  • \n
  • A proactive approach to stakeholder engagement and experience of designing and delivering on HR initiatives.
  • \n
  • Live preferably in the region of Romford/ East London /Essex. .
