OVERVIEW We are recruiting for an experienced
HR professional (CIPD qualified or with the equivalent on the job experience) to join a growing and successful family business.
As HR Manager you will provide a key function reporting to the company secretary, this role will
lead and coordinate all HR activity across the group.
You will cover all the normal functions associated with looking after people as a HR manager but more importantly, we are looking for someone to embody
core values and help deliver on the commitment to providing an environment in which the
team can thrive and flourish.
IDEAL CANDIDATE- Experience within a senior HR role across the full range of strategic and operational activities including managing change and culture development
- CIPD Qualification is desirable
- Someone with energy & enthusiasm, able to get things done
- Confident with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Pro-active, with a desire to identify and adopt best working practices and bring new ideas to the table
THE ROLE – KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- This is an on-site role. There is flexibility around the contracted hours and how this looks across the week. You must be prepared to work in the office and be visible. This is not a hybrid role
- Contracted hours of between 25 to 30 hours ideally over 5 days but 3- or 4-days are negotiable and therefore would suit someone who needs some flexibility
- Ownership of developing a robust and consistent recruitment process including on-boarding
- Leading initiatives in training, development, recognition & reward to drive employee engagement and retention
- Provide support, advice and guidance to the team including dealing with queries and problems relating to policies & procedures
- Management of all HR administration including personnel records & holiday entitlements
