McMullen Facades are currently recruiting for a full time HR Manager to join JRL Facades Manufacturing. This role will be based in our Portadown factory site. Hours of work will be Monday-Thursday 8am-5pm and Friday 8am-2pm Excellent salary and benefits package available for the successful candidate. Job Summary: The HR Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources practices and processes within JRL Facades Manufacturing. This role is critical in providing strategic HR support, fostering a positive work environment, and ensuring compliance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR management, ideally within the manufacturing sector. Key Responsibilities: Serve as a strategic advisor to the senior leadership team, ensuring they have the necessary support and guidance to deliver on the people agenda. Create and implement HR strategies and initiatives that align with overall business goals. Manage the end-to-end recruitment and selection process, ensuring legal compliance and a flexible approach to achieve optimal hiring outcomes. Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations throughout the employee lifecycle. Provide daily guidance and advisory services to line managers on all employment relations matters, including disciplinary actions, grievances, absences, and performance management. Review, update and implement policies and procedures in accordance with current legislation and best practices. Manage the benefits program, ensuring it is competitive and aligned with industry standards. Implement initiatives to boost employee morale, engagement, and retention Monitor HR KPIs and use data to drive continuous improvement in HR practices and decision-making. The Person: CIPD qualified. Proven experience in a senior HR role ideally within a manufacturing environment. In-depth knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations in Northern Ireland. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build effective relationships at all levels. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Proficiency Microsoft Office Suite. Strong organisational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
