Our team of around 38 dedicated professionals is headquartered in Portlethen, Aberdeenshire, and we specialize in providing high-quality speciality chemicals and consultancy services to the Global Energy Industry. Our headquarters houses our Operations, Research & Development, and Commercial Operations teams, and we also have regional offices in Dubai and the Netherlands.
We're proud of our roots in the conventional energy sector (Oil & Gas), but we're equally excited about our expansion into Renewable Energy Industries such as Geothermal and Offshore Wind.
The Role

We're on the lookout for a proactive and engaging Part-Time HR Manager to join our team. This is a brand-new position, which will be key in helping us develop a great working culture where our team can flourish. Working closely with our General Manager and the Management Team, this is the ideal position for an experienced, generalist HR/People professional who is passionate about People and Culture and eager to help us build great HR foundations.
Your Responsibilities:
Support & Development: Establish and provide a full HR service to all client areas, regularly liaising with the Senior Management team to ensure alignment with business objectives. You'll coach and develop the management team on all people-related matters.
Recruitment: Manage the recruitment process for vacancies and support future headcount planning.
Induction & Training: Ensure the induction process for new starts and internal moves is effective and allows people to settle in well. Develop consistent and accessible frameworks which support the training and development of our team.
Performance Reviews: Plan and monitor performance review programs with Team managers, addressing resulting training needs appropriately.
Compliance & Policies: Ensure compliance with relevant employment legislation, update Policies and Procedures, and maintain professional and accurate administration for recruitment and employment.
Reporting & KPIs: Provide regular relevant reports and KPIs to the management team managers, supporting the business's financial performance.
External Relations: Represent Roemex professionally and develop effective relationships in relevant industry and education establishments.
Compensation: Provide input to the annual salary review process and perform benchmarking based on local market knowledge.
About You:
Experience: You have previous generalist HR experience and can demonstrate a proactive HR service that supports business goals. Youll need to be up to speed with current employment law. CIPD qualification is a plus.
Interpersonal Skills: You're great with people, able to work effectively with people at all levels, and skilled at developing people management abilities across an organisation.
Communication: Your communication skills, both written and oral, are first class
Organisation: You're highly organized, able to plan effectively, and provide proactive HR services.
Self-Motivation: You're self-motivated, able to work unsupervised, and determined to achieve results with high attention to detail.
