Job ref: HRM/NOV/2024 | Job type: Permanent Location: Newry | Salary: £40,000- £50,000 Closing date: Monday 02 Dec 2024 16:00 Job summary Job Purpose: The HR Manager is a key role within the Human Resource Department leading and setting targets for the department and providing and delivering support to the HR team. The HR Manager will provide HR advice and guidance to all colleagues across the GFL Group and work with the HR Team to implement company polices and procedures. Supervisor Responsibilities:HR Team Leader, Wider HR Team. Accountabilities:To be accountable for achieving the targets set for the role To be accountable for the Quality of Work expectations for the role To assist the Directors in ensuring high standards To be accountable for your workstation and any equipment provided to you To be accountable for the Health & Safety of yourself and colleagues. Files and other documents relating to customer cases Specific Duties General Responsibilities Working closely with the HR team on providing HR advice and guidance to colleagues and line managers. Implement and assist in management of recruitment process. Generate and prepare employment contracts and all related correspondence. Manage quality control and processes for the firm, to include the monitoring of reports, updating and amending procedures, implementing new procedures and working practices, reporting to the directors on all developments. Communicating HR procedure to all departments. Overseeing the management and recording of all learning and development for teams. Collect and collate information for a wide range of reports including monthly, board reports, equality returns and all general HR reports. Attendance & actively partaking in meetings as and when required. Overseeing management of HR Software system. Overseeing management of Health & Wellbeing and Health & Safety for the GFL Group. Oversee, identify and organise training for staff. Effectively managing time to comply with duties and responsibilities. All other HR duties as and when required. Quality of Work Responsibilities Adhering to the Quality of Work expectations and company procedures for the role and department. Line Manager Reporting Provide timely and effective feedback to Directors Attend team meetings Updating the Directors on progress as required Actively partaking in meetings as and when required Request training identified to assist in being successful in the role and attend required training. Participation in GPS appraisals to assess your overall performance, duties, training requirements and development. Other To manage the HR Team to ensure that tasks, deadlines and objectives for the department are achieved. Adhering to the rules and regulations and Health and Safety guidelines of the company and the rules and regulations around your role Demonstrate confidentiality at all times. Commitment to preserving high customer care standards at all times Supporting team members and knowledge sharing To undertake other such reasonable duties as shall from time to time be required by the company, within the competency of the postholder.
