We are working exclusively with a well-funded manufacturer who are making great inroads in their sector, now seeking an HR Officer to take on the day-to-day HR responsibilities for the factory, and be the first point of contact for the team.
As HR Officer, you will be involved in:
* Recruitment and onboarding
* Employee Relations
* Disciplinaries/investigations
* Timesheets/payroll
* Employee wellbeing
* Responsible for the HR system, updating and maintaining, ensuring appropriate access is provided
* Reporting sickness/absence
We are keen to hear from you if you have:
* HR experience in a manufacturing environment essential
* Initiative and a "can do" approach, proactive and able to think laterally
* Able to deal with confidential issues with discretion
* Knowledgeable
* Common sense and ability to remain calm under pressure, often multi-tasking
* Good communication skills
* Happy to go beyond your job description to get things done
* Able to maintain a professional distance while remaining approachable
* CIPD qualification is not essential but experience in a manufacturing environment performing HR tasks is a must for this role
As HR Officer you will enjoy:
* Salary £20-35,000 commensurate with your experience
* 30.5 days' holiday including Bank Holidays
* Early finish on Fridays
