HRIS Associate

AWE are currently recruiting for an HR Associate on a 12 month fixed term contract or internal secondment to work in the HR function, reporting into the HRIS People Services Team Leader.

This role will be focused on systems, predominantly Workday and be the second level of contact support for the business, working to agreed service levels and delivering excellent customer service.

Location - Reading / Basingstoke area

Package - £23,360 - £26,500 (depending on your suitability and level of experience)

You will be required to:

Support the HRIS People Services team activities required to ensure the maintenance and ongoing provision of our systems and processes
Provide the wider business with system support via our ticketing system
Support the integrity of HR processes, data and services, ensuring our processes are kept up to date and documented
Maintain and promote high personal standards in environment, safety, health, security and quality and be a great team player

To be successful in this role you should have the following skills and experience:

Customer service skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
Attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to manage own workload and priorities to agreed timescales
Work well in a team environment
A passion for systems, process and problem solving
Good working knowledge and understanding of the HR environment (people, systems and processes)
Good understanding of process improvement
Desirable: Experience of working with and supporting HR systems
Desirable: working in a customer services environment delivering transactional tasks
Desirable: Experience of process improvement activities
Desirable: Experience of working with and interpreting data
Desirable: Knowledge and experience in Workday, however training will be given

This job role is suitable for hybrid working, which is an informal, non-contractual and voluntary arrangement, blending a balance of attendance in the workplace (your permanent duty station) and working from home as a personal choice. If you are successful, any opportunities for hybrid working will be discussed with you prior to you taking up your post.

The successful candidate is required to carry out all their duties from a UK location and cannot do so from an overseas location at any time.
