About The RoleWe are looking for an experienced HR and Systems specialist to take a lead on developing and implementing an internal HR system, People HR part of Access Group. The role will work closely with the software company and internal colleagues to configure, test, implement and roll out across the company.Benefits package worth up to £5,000Online, activity days and in-store employee discountsFree DBS and parkingHealthcare cash plan worth up to £700*Refer a friend scheme – up to £1,000 (depending on role)Company eventsPaid for e-learning and trainingCycle to work scheme up to £2,000Reward and recognition through vouchers and cash incentives for Christmas and long service25 days holiday + bank holidays and company pension schemeHours of workMonday to Friday between 09.00 and 17.00 (40 hours per week)This is a fixed-term role of 6 months.The job roles and responsibilities of an HRIS Specialist include.Acting as HR Lead for in-progress HRIS system implementation, including continued testing and configuration, security administration, report writing, system optimisation post go-live, and coordination and management of cross-functional dependencies between HR, Benefits, IT, and Payroll.Leading the continuous evaluation and evolution of HR SystemsManaging and scaling a team of HRIS members to help define and drive the overall HRIS roadmap.Coordinating with Information Technology and the user community to identify areas of improvement, recommend changes, and implement functional solutions for existing systems.Mentoring and coaching the HR team to develop expertise and drive process and configuration excellence.Actively identifying and resolving issues or opportunities for enhanced user experience and other HRIS Integrations.Developing, documenting, and maintaining all current and new HRIS business process workflows for efficiency and compliance.Maintaining and administering ad hoc report writing tools for end users; training and assisting users of those ad hoc report writing tools.Communicating with HR teams, to ensure understanding of processes.Essential ExperienceWork experience as an HRIS Specialist or similar roleHands-on experience with databases and HR softwareExcellent analytical and reporting skillsSkills requiredSelf-starterKeen attention to detailProficient in Microsoft OfficeAbility to work to deadlinesExcellent communication and administrative skillsExcellent organisational and time management skillsBSc in Computer Science or relevant field (desirable)About UsCornerstone Healthcare Group provide specialist care for vulnerable people who present with challenging behaviours associated with complex neurodegenerative and mental health needs.Residents who live in our homes primarily have a neurological degenerative condition such as Dementia with an underlying mental health condition which makes them unsuitable to live in dementia care homes or residential care homes for the elderly.We currently have 4 homes based in Waterlooville, Curdridge, Mytchett & Wincanton and are in the process of building a new service in Bristol due to open in early 2025.
