HSE Advisor

This role is for a Health, Safety and Environment Advisor within the engineering and manufacturing industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing health, safety and environmental matters in a well-established industrial and manufacturing setting in Rotherham.

Description

• Develop, implement and maintain health, safety and environmental policies.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments.
• Provide HSE advice and support to the team and management.
• Deliver HSE training to employees.
• Investigate and report on accidents and incidents.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant HSE regulations.
• Monitor and review HSE performance.
• Drive a positive HSE culture within the organisation.

Profile

A successful HSE Advisor should have:

• A degree in Health and Safety or a related field.
• Relevant industry certifications such as NEBOSH.
• Experience in a similar role within the industrial or manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• A proactive approach to health and safety.
