Position: HSE Trainer



Location: Barnsley and nationwide



Salary: �40-44,000 per annum



Start Date: Immediate



Duration: Permanent





The Role:



My client is a well-established market leading industrial construction, operations and maintenance sector and are recruiting for a Health & Safety Trainer to join their existing team, reporting into Barnsley head office and covering locations nationwide. As a Health & Safety Trainer your role will focus on all day-to-day training of all H&S training requirements for all staff and duties will include:





Delivering mandatory H&S training activities including IOSH Managing Safely / Working Safely



Identify any training needs within the H&S arena



Maintain departmental H&S training records, assessment paperwork and data



Provide technical support to all colleagues



Work with Training Team to improve the quality of training and learning delivered by the company



Attend Meetings as and when required





Training:



Minimum of Level 3 Award in Education & Training (AET) or equivalent teaching qualification is essential.



IOSH (Managing Safely / Working Safely)



Have an in-depth understanding of H&S legislation



Proven experience in training and development



Excellent communication skills



Excellent interpersonal skills



Strong organisational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously



Ability to work under pressure with multiple supervisory staff



Good report writing skills
