HSEQ Manager RSC Group are looking for an experienced HSEQ Manager to support the team and meet the requirements of the Safety Quality and Environment Management systems. This role will also involve assisting supervisors and managers by recognising hazards and seeking to minimise risks, ensuring high standards of HSEQ are attained and continually improved and to ensure all HSEQ legal obligations are met. The HSEQ Manager will be an integral part of the team. This role requires the individual to be able to multi-task and prioritise workload. Previous experience is necessary. This role will be based in our Head Office in Maghera, the successful candidate will be required to carry out site visits across Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. Reporting to the Managing Director, the successful candidate will play an active role in the continuous development of the Companys management systems. This position is suitable for those with a genuine passion for the Environment, Health and Safety and Quality and has the drive to help continually improve our HSEQ culture and progress within the company. Job Details: Hours: Full-time Working Days: 5 days per week, Monday to Friday (Flexible) Salary: Depending on experience Duties and Responsibilities: Develop strong working relationships with all levels of employees and promote a culture of engagement, understanding, and compliance with all HSEQ policies and procedures. Ensure health and safety, environmental, and quality standards are met on-site. Conduct workplace inspections across Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. Monitor, review, improve, and amend the Integrated Management System to ensure continual improvement and compliance. Develop and implement further HSEQ initiatives and continual improvements. Manage the completion of ISO9001, ISO14001, and ISO45001 internal audits, providing effective solutions to support compliance with all external audits. Maintain records, inspections, and calibration of lifting appliances, PPE, gas monitoring equipment, safety audits, and accidents/incidents Support the implementation, design, and development of risk management processes, including risk assessments, COSHH assessments, and fire risk assessments. Investigate and report on incidents, accidents, dangerous occurrences, and near misses. Provide effective solutions for all company health and safety and compliance inductions. Deliver internal training and coaching to operational teams on specific subjects such as incident investigation, risk assessment, and COSHH regulations. Attend and provide monthly operational reports at operational meetings and submit quarterly performance and compliance reports at board meetings. Ensure all working methods and procedures are relevant, clearly communicated, and adhered to, promoting and portraying the company in a professional, safe, and compliant manner. This includes providing a safe workplace for a motivated and competent workforce focused on delivering high standards of workmanship and quality of service. Advise the Managing Director on the implications of current, new, and pending health, safety, environmental, and quality statutes, approved codes of practice, guidance, etc., and their impact on existing procedures and methods of operation. Advise on training requirements. Undertake any other reasonable duties and tasks as deemed appropriate from time to time. Knowledge and Experience: 3 plus years experience in operational management or safety, health, and environment leadership (ideally gained within a Transport/construction related environment). Previous experience of producing internal audits to comply with & ISO9001 / ISO14001 / ISO45001 Accuracy, diligence, and a champion of embracing and driving effective compliance solutions. Excellent solutions, planning and organisational skills. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Qualification NEBOSH Certificate as minimum, preferably 3rd level EHS qualification University Degree (preferable) Driving Licence Application Deadline: Closing Date: Wednesday 4th September by 5 PM.
