As a health and health officer join one of Ireland's leading Mechanical & Electrical service providers, where you will be integral to a team renowned for achieving exceptional results. In the capacity of an HSEQ Officer, you will be responsible for managing quality, safety, health, and environmental standards across multiple construction sites in Northern Ireland. Your dedication to best practice and your keen attention to detail will be crucial in ensuring the team operates with the highest safety and efficiency standards, thereby reducing risks, minimising downtime, and mitigating environmental impact.
The Role:

• Conduct comprehensive HSEQ audits and site inspections across all site locations.
• Review, evaluate and manage crucial subcontractor documentation, on site inductions and maintain records
• Drive HSEQ and product safety awareness.
• Foster a proactive safety culture to address employee concerns regarding safety, health, and environmental.
• Investigate and report accidents, near misses, and dangerous occurrences.
• Handle all HSEQ tasks to ensure records are up to date.
• Review and refine HSEQ policies and procedures to ensure compliance with current regulations and legislation

What you'll need:

• Previous experience in Health & Safety environment
• Degree level of education (within construction preferable)
• NEBOSH certified
• Experienced in ISO auditing
• IOSH certified (prior experience in construction, desirable but not essential)
