Your new role: As Human Resources Advisor, you will play a crucial role in delivering a comprehensive HR service, ensuring a high-quality, responsive function to all stakeholders. You will work closely in our HR team, supporting various aspects of HR operations, from employee relations to day-to-day operations and much more. The main areas of responsibility for the role will include: People Function: Manage day-to-day HR operations, support senior HR staff and handle documentation for processes such as references, right to work checks and employee milestones. Talent Acquisition: Assist the Recruitment Team with administration and coordination of interviews and assisting on interviews when required Employee Development: Support training programs and identify training needs alongside the Learning and Development team Performance Management: Contribute to performance issue analysis and identification Employee Relations: Implement HR policies, support communication channels, and handle casework for disciplinaries, grievances and absence management Diversity, Equality and Inclusion (DEI): Participate in DEI initiatives and support related projects Compliance: Ensure HR practices comply with UK employment laws and support compliance checks Benefits and Compensation: Assist in benefits administration and provide payroll support Employee Engagement: Aid in the implementation of engagement programs and gather engagement metrics Health and Wellbeing: Promote and support in sourcing wellbeing initiatives, organising any events, manage absence policies, support in handling occupational health referrals Systems Management: Maintain accurate employee records, perform data integrity checks, and support system updates and enhancements Key Accountabilities: Establishing and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders, present data and metrics appropriately, considering employment law, ensure confidentiality, data protection and GDPR compliance at all times. What you ll need to succeed: To be successful in this position you will: Be educated to degree level or equivalent CIPD qualification (desirable and willingness to pursue further study) Strong knowledge of HR codes of practice and employment legislation Demonstrable HR operational experience Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail Proficient in MS Office and HRIS Strong work ethic, professionalism, and team player mentality Outstanding organisational, multi-tasking, and prioritising skills Ability to handle sensitive material confidentially Excellent interpersonal skills with employees, managers and third parties What you ll get in return: Annual salary of £30,000 - £35,000 per annum (dependent on experience) Bonus Scheme Company pension Life Insurance Holiday of 31 days, increasing to 36 days total with our length of service programme, inclusive of bank holidays Healthcare Cashplan scheme: access to money back on dental, optical, consultation, therapy treatments, wellbeing treatments, hospital treatment insurance, Employee Assistance Programme Extras including: Company events, Cycle to work scheme, Employee discount, On-site parking, Referral programme, Wellness programme This role would suit someone who has previously worked as a HR Administrator, Coordinator or Assistant and is looking for their next step in their career. This is a permanent role, Monday to Friday hours of work 8:45am 5:30pm, working on site 5 days a week for a period of 3-6 months.
