p This is an exciting opportunity for an HR professional to take on a standalone role within a busy, fast-paced startup environment. This individual will need to be organised, responsible and diligent in order to meet the demands of being the go-to internal figure for not only HR, but ad-hoc office management and marketing support. They will also need to have a positive, self-starter attitude, able to keep the HR function running smoothly and integrate into the team of friendly, hard-working individuals. This is perfect for someone looking to take on more responsibility, and will be able to tackle new and varied tasks which arise. /p br Find out more about this role by reading the information below, then apply to be considered. br p strong Job Responsibilities /strong /p p - End-to-end management of the employee experience: onboarding, organising training and development activities, and offboarding; /p p - Managing our performance management process and any employee relations, disciplinary, or grievance affairs which arise; /p p - Manage company benefits and liaise with providers; /p p - Manage our HRIS system, SageHR, keeping this up-to-date with employee information and documents; /p p - Expenses management, and supporting external accountants with payroll; /p p - Keeping company policies and procedures compliant with developments to UK employment law; /p p - Contract, internal communications, and letter generation; /p p - Support on ad-hoc tasks such as recruitment, engagement surveys etc; /p p - Support with company marketing and general office management (liaising with building management, ordering supplies, working with external IT provider); /p p - Be the first point of contact for signposting and taking HR-related requests from employees. /p p strong Experience and expectations /strong /p p Required: /p p - 2-4 years of hands-on, people-focused HR experience within a similar role; /p p - CIPD L3 (or working towards); /p p - Sound understanding of UK employment law; /p p - Confident working in a standalone position; /p p - Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. /p p Desirable: /p p - HRIS experience - SageHR or similar; /p p - Confident using Microsoft suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat; /p p - Experience within a recruitment, professional services or otherwise high-performance environment. /p p strong What's on offer? /strong /p p - Competitive salary (£35-50k), with discretionary bonuses, and CIPD sponsorship; /p p - Private health and travel insurance, pension contribution, wellbeing allowance, discounted gym membership; /p p - Invaluable experience working in a fast-paced environment, reporting to key stakeholders, and seeing direct impact of both long-term and day-to-day work first hand. /p
