HR Advisor Agency Reference Number: J83548Our client, a reputable and growing NHS organisation, is looking for a Band 6 HR Advisor to join the team for a 9-12 month maternity cover. Please bear in mind the below essential and desirable criteria when applying, and note that candidates with Healthcare HR experience will be preferred for this position.Salary: £37,338 - £44,962 per annumContract type: FTCLocation: RemoteWorking pattern: 37.5 hours per weekEssential criteria Must be working towards CIPD, or have a post graduate diplomaHave experience with HR Data AnalysisPrevious experience of providing HR advice to staff at all levels and supporting ER casesExperience of managing your own case load, including sickness absence management, disciplinary, grievance, etc. Desirable criteria Previous experience of working in an NHS organisation, or the wider Public Sector Duties and responsibilities: Respond to written and verbal enquiries from a range of external stakeholders ensuring these are handled appropriately and forwarded as necessary to the appropriate person within the HR&OD Team as and when necessaryDevelop and maintain close working relationships with other providers of service to the workforce e.g. Occupational Health, payroll and pensions and act as a link between managers these service providers to ensure the implementation of advice e.g. return to work, reasonable adjustments, redeployments, ill health retirements as well as other work related issuesAdvise and support line managers on producing clear, concise and fit for purpose job descriptions including the Agenda for Change Job Evaluation FrameworkManage a case load as allocated by the HRBP including Sickness, Disciplinary, Capability, Grievance, and Bullying and Harassment cases including complex and high risk cases, seeking advice from the HRBP as requiredLiaise with HR&OD Team members to identify and manage risks associated with payroll and employee relations issuesResponsible for the co-ordination of Joint Negotiating Council meetings; this will include the production of agendaAssist with drafting and updating workforce plans with Heads of Service and liaising with colleagues in financeResponsible for ensuring the co-ordination of any ER hearings and preparation of all associated documentationLead on less complex internal change projects as directed by the HR Business PartnersContributing to the implementation plan of new policies and assisting to develop tool kits for managersResolve payroll related issues as they arise, including liaising with the external payroll provider and dealing with all payroll queries from staff, ensuring quick and accurate resolutionProvide employee relations advice, coaching and training and manage cases including supporting managers in, capability, grievance, dignity at work and sickness management casesDevelop and maintain HR related systems to monitor and support requirements and service deliveryResponsible for running monthly management information reports from ESR and submitting these to the Head of HREqual Opportunity Statement: Venn Group is an equal opportunities employment business and employment agency and welcomes applications from all candidates.
