Mechanical/HVAC Contract Manager
Are you a skilled Mechanical or HVAC Contract Manager with experience in high-stakes environments? A premier MEP services provider is seeking a seasoned professional to oversee HVAC projects across the UK in sectors such as Retail, Residential, Leisure, and Commercial Offices, with a particular focus on projects in complex settings, including airports. This role is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on leader to deliver quality projects for a trusted and growing company.
The Role: As the Mechanical/HVAC Contract Manager, you will:
* Lead and coordinate the full project lifecycle, from design collaboration through to installation and aftercare, ensuring on-time, high-quality delivery.
* Oversee project management tasks including budget adherence, scheduling, safety protocols, and quality standards, with a strong emphasis on client satisfaction.
* Manage and support on-site teams across multiple locations, fostering a culture of safety and efficiency.
* Build and maintain strong client relationships through clear communication and proactive management.
What We’re Looking For:
* Background in HVAC with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in contract or project management within a mechanical or ventilation-focused environment.
* Relevant certifications, such as SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) or Black CSCS card.
* Electrical understanding or experience is advantageous for this role, given the integration of MEP systems in complex environments.
* Proven experience working in airport environments is highly desirable, given the technical and compliance-focused requirements of these projects.
* Strong organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to oversee complex project lifecycles.
* Willingness to travel across the UK for on-site project management.
