HVAC Design Engineer

HVAC Design Engineer�
Due to increased workload my client are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to support a range of ongoing projects in the HVAC sector�
Ideally, they require previous experience in a Building Services role, excellent technical knowledge of the industry and a thorough understanding of all stages of the design process.

Duties:

��������� Accurately design HVAC systems for a range of projects.
��������� Respond to client queries and communicate design progress and changes as required.
��������� Prepare specifications aligned to your designs.
��������� Have a broad knowledge of systems available on the market and be able to confidently recommend the most appropriate and cost-effective solutions.
��������� Contribute to discussions on developing options for VE.
��������� Liaise with the design team to solve problems and develop solutions.
��������� Be able to work competently in CAD and other relevant programmes.
��������� Oversee testing and commissioning activities if required and report on outcomes.
��������� Support other activities as required.
��������� Contribute to QA procedures.
This role is office-based.� There may be the requirement to attend meetings off-site on occasion, should the project dictate.
Requirements:
��� A degree or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering.
��� Relevant experience in Building Services Engineering, across a variety of sectors.
��� Good knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit and other drawing packages.
��� Ability to manage a challenging and varied workload, work independently, and assist team members where required.
