Your opportunity to join a major player in the NI Energy Sectors and playing an important role in the management of electricity & gas assets. In this role you will be responsible for; Liaison with Transmission System Operators and other stakeholders on technical issues, ensuring Grid Code compliance Monitoring system performance and identification of performance issues relating to availability, reliability and power quality, through detailed analysis of available data, and investigation of control system behaviour Acting as Technical Lead for control, protection and communication systems issues, liaising with Siemens Energy and other consultants, to resolve any emerging issues promptly and effectively Effective management and continued development of relationships with a diverse range of contractors, consultants, and other electricity sector stakeholders Confident and clear technical communication with senior management and colleagues industry leaders and regulatory authorities What we are looking for 3rd level education in a related discipline with 3 + years experience within the electricity generation, power engineering or utilities sectors with experience ideally in one or more of the following; High Voltage Direct Current electricity transmission High Voltage SCADA and control & protection systems, Programmable Logic Controllers within the energy sector The Package A 10% bonus based on company and individual performance will come with this role. Contributory pension matched up to 9.5% by the employer. Private medical insurance is offered for the individual and family. Critical illness cover is provided with this position.
