Hydraulic Modeller- Leeds *Flood Modeller Pro

My client, a market leading, UK based Engineering Consultancy, is searching for a Hydraulic Modeller to join their friendly and supportive Team of Engineers and Consultants based in Leeds.

Applicants are required to have a strong academic background in a relevant discipline (including a BSc/FdSc or MSc in Hydrology, River Basin Dynamics, Civil or Environmental Engineering) and have experience working for a UK based Consultancy or Local Authority completing Hydraulic Modelling, Model Build and Verification using Flood Modeller Pro and/or Tuflow.

It is also beneficial for applicants to have experience completing Drainage Design or Flood Risk Assessments.

As a Hydraulic Modeller you will have the opportunity to join a supportive and friendly team of Engineers and Consultants based in Leeds to complete Flood Risk, Hydraulic Modelling, Surface Water and Drainage Projects for Local Authorities, Water Companies and Private Sector Clients.

You will be supported by the team to complete Hydraulic Modelling, Model Build, Verification using Flood Modeller Pro and Tuflow, Flood Risk Assessments, Flood Estimation, Flood Risk Mapping using ArcGIS and Surface Water Management Plans.

As a Hydraulic Modeller you may also have the opportunity to be trained to complete Drainage Strategy and SuDS Design using AutoCAD and Microdrainage. You will also have the opportunity to complete Microdrainage training.
