Are you skilled with hydraulics and mechanical tools? /p p If so, this is a fantastic opportunity to put your skills to use! /p p My Client, a well established, leading national business in their niche in the construction hire industry, is urgently seeking a Hydraulic Technician to work as an EMV (Excavator Mounted Vibrating) Hammer Fitter, based at their depot North East of Glasgow. /p p Your main responsibility will be to ensure this vital equipment is in top condition, allowing customer's construction projects to run smoothly and safely. /p p This is a Monday to Friday role. Your weekends are your own! /p p b What You'll Do /b /p ul li Inspect, test, and maintain all EMV hammers for optimal performance. /li li Install EMV hammers onto excavators, ensuring correct operation. /li li Uphold strict Health and Safety standards in all work processes. /li li Operate work equipment and drive vehicles as needed. /li li Prepare and paint equipment to company standards. /li /ul p b What You'll Need /b /p ul li b Essential: /b /li li Minimum 6 months' experience in a groundworks or construction environment /li li 1+ years of hydraulic testing experience /li li Valid Forklift Truck (FLT) license /li li Full UK Driving Licence /li li b Desirable: /b /li li Experience using EMV hammers /li li Relevant Health & Safety certifications (CSCS, CPCS, etc.) /li li Skills in welding or using power tools /li /ul p Initially this is a 6 month fixed term contract, although my Client hopes to be in a position for the role to turn permanent.... /p p If you're a mechanically-minded individual committed to safety and quality, we want to hear from you!
