Salary: £26,000-£30,000

Key Responsibilities:



  • Leadership and Team Management: Provide clear leadership, mentoring, and training to your team to ensure work is executed to the highest standards.
  • Audits: Conduct pre and post-cleaning audits to guarantee the correct standards are achieved.
  • Performance Management: Undertake team member performance reviews and manage performance requirements.
  • Schedule Development: Develop and improve daily, weekly, and monthly hygiene schedules for the site.
  • System Development: Develop systems and procedures for all hygiene team activities, including SOPs.
  • Deep Cleaning Management: Manage machinery deep cleans as required and participate in ‘white’ maintenance during plant shutdowns.
  • Budget Control: Control the hygiene consumables budget effectively.
  • Compliance: Ensure all work meets the requirements of Quality, Safety, Food Safety, Health, and Environment policies and procedures.
  • Documentation: Receive and complete all relevant handover documentation.
  • Training: Attend and recommend further training courses for yourself and your team as necessary.
  • Continuous Improvement: Demonstrate involvement in continuous improvement, focusing on process efficiency and energy reduction.
  • Pest Management: Collaborate with the Technical team and Pest Management contractors on pest concerns.
