Highbury Recruitment are working in conjunction with a fast moving client on the outskirts of Norwich to source a Hygiene Team Leader to join their busy team. This is an excellent opportunity to join an exceptional company. 

The successful candidate will be responsible for overlooking the Hygiene team and take care of work flow and paperwork. 

Duties will include : 







  • Supervise a team of hygiene operatives to ensure they know their duties and carry out their work in accordance with cleaning procedures and practices and Health & Safety Regulations. Ensure high standards of cleanliness and hygiene are maintained.
  • Provide a comprehensive cleaning service to include vacuuming, washing floors, emptying bins, cleaning toilets, foaming, sanitizing, high level cleaning, manual cleaning and scrubbing etc. to ensure high standards of cleanliness and hygiene at all times
  • Organize monthly and weekly cleaning of all areas including machine strip downs to ensure all areas are clean and fresh.
  • Attend training courses as required and assist in the training of other hygiene staff as directed.
  • Maintain and improve the pre-determined deep clean schedules and daily cleaning schedules.
  • Replenish chemicals in washroom and factory.
  • Order chemicals, as required, replenish blue towels and maintain GMP standards in factory
  • Ensure all issues and concerns are immediately raised with Operations Manager and aid in solving these issues.
  • Help train all new recruits and make them feel part of the team.
  • Ensure you and others all wear the supplied PPE and safety equipment as per the cleaning schedule whilst always using chemicals on site.
  • Health & Safety: To set an example to all team members by obeying Health & Safety regulations. Report any near misses, incidents or accidents to the H&S Officer or Team Manager and carry out any corrective actions where needed.
  • Ensure PPE is worn for job and adhere to all health and safety regulations.
  • Adhere to all Company policies and procedures.

Hours will be full time, Nightshift 6pm to 3am. (although you will need to be able to attend 3-4 weeks of days for training in the beginning)
