IBM i Technical Engineer
Remote based (anywhere in the UK but must be able and willing to travel to customer sites and offices when required)
Salary: £40,000 + Benefits + Bonus
This is a 'Technical Consultant' type role, and is looking for someone with the following:
IBMi Expertise
IBM Storage expertise
IBM Power Servers expertise
Skills:
Client management, troubleshooting, solution thinking (identify & resolve)
Build & deploy new systems; install new hardware & software (technical ability; physical environment consciousness; secure architecture)
Issue, incident and DR management
Reporting, Analytics, Project Management
Physical asset management expertise
Data centre management & control
Business Partner; vendor & supplier management; excellent relationship management
Access control management inc. password expertise
Cloud technologies
Monitoring & back up tools (such as: Halcyon; Zabbix; SolarWinds; VEEAM; Evault)
