You will be reporting into the ILS Team Leader, as an ILS Engineer your Role and Responsibilities, will include working closely with the product development teams and customers.

• Analysing customer requirements in the area of ILS, coordinating and creating internal and external offers as well as work packages in the ILS area
• Conducting a range of ILS activities, including Supportability Analysis, Reliability and Maintainability (R&M), Supply Support, and Maintenance.
• Product Design
• Designing and Developing Maritime Systems
• Development of guidelines for logistical concepts and their implementation, e.g. ILS management plans, maintenance concepts and project-specific logistical approaches
• Exploring the ILS Requirements, preparing cost estimates
• Ensuring the packages of work are delivered in budget and on time

Your profile

• Ideally degree qualified- within Engineering
• Experience in managing work packages
• Experience in managing subcontractors and managing customer relationships
• Key communication skills
• Experience in applying ILS into defense projects
• Experience within the Defense Logistics Framework
