About the Role:
A North Wales local authority is seeking a committed and resilient Qualified Social Worker to join their First Contact Team. This vital role involves managing cases from initial contact through to conferences, first reviews, court reports, and PLO proceedings. You will play a key part in safeguarding children and supporting families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct initial assessments and manage cases to ensure timely safeguarding interventions.
  • Prepare court reports and manage cases within PLO proceedings.
  • Participate in conferences, reviews, and statutory meetings.
  • Engage with families, providing advocacy and support.

Requirements:

  • Social work qualification (Degree in Social Work or equivalent).
  • Registration with Social Care Wales.
  • Experience in child protection, safeguarding, and PLO proceedings.
