Immediate Start - South Wales - Childrens Social Work

NonStop Consulting are partnered with a wonderful authority in South Wales, seeking experienced Children's Social Workers to join their team.

Responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload consisting of primarily Child in Need (CIN) cases, with some Looked After Children (LAC) and a few Child Protection (CP) court cases.
• Participate in the innovative MyST fostering and adoption service.
• Engage in bi-weekly Vulnerable Children's Panel meetings with senior managers for guidance.
• Collaborate closely with local schools, health services, and the drug and alcohol service.
• Provide feedback during CP Conferences and Core Group Meetings, with administrative support from Team Manager and Assistant Team Manager.

Qualifications & Skills:

• SWE registered Social Worker.
• Degree in social care.
• Experience in handling CIN, LAC, and CP cases.
• Strong communication and time management skills.
• Knowledge of relevant legislation and frameworks.
• Team-oriented, collaborative, and committed to high service standards.
