Import & Export Compliance Specialist

Location: Derby, UK

Salary: Up to �40,000

Job Type: 12 Month Contract

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of trade compliance, customs regulations, and logistics, and will be proactive in managing the company's import and export documentation, classifications, and overall compliance processes.

From You:

• 3+ years of experience in import/export compliance or a related role within a global supply chain environment.
• In-depth knowledge of international trade laws, regulations, and compliance issues (e.g., ITAR, EAR, OFAC).
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work under pressure.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and compliance software (e.g., SAP GTS, Customs brokerage systems).
• Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written), with the ability to interact effectively with various teams and external partners.
• Certification in trade compliance (e.g., Certified Customs Specialist, Licensed Customs Broker) is a plus.
