Import Operator

Import Operator required to join an industry leader within the multimodal freight and brokerage market at their head office located in Basildon.

Our client provides a variety of services to include FCL and LCL, Rail, Road and Air Freight as well as Customs Brokerage and Warehousing to name a few. This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading business within the Freight sector and to have the opportunity to learn and develop your career within Logistics.

Import Operator - Position Overview

• Assist with all aspects of looking after the FCL movements (e.g., China, US to the UK)
• Liaison with the company's China Offices.
• Ensure regular communication with all local UK suppliers
• Communicate with customs department in order to arrange customs clearances
• Dealing with the company's other 3PL warehouses as and when required
• Liaison with local transport companies in order to organise final end deliveries

Import Operator - Position Requirements

• Knowledge of import customs entry
• Bills of Lading experience
• Excellent customer service experience

Import Operator - Position Remuneration

• Salary - Circa �25K - �30K
• Monday to Friday
• 08:30am - 17:30pm
• In-house training and development
