In House Counsel / Solicitor Advocate (Greater London) About us Antony Hodari Solicitors has been delivering an industry leading service to clients throughout the UK for 40 years. We can offer: Annual salary review subject to performance (where applicable) 6% employer contribution to pension. Hybrid or Remote working environment Training, development, and support The Role Working alongside our other in-house counsel / senior solicitors delivering advocacy and advice on primarily cases where Landlords have failed to adhere to repairs either by Court Order or agreed settlements in Housing Conditions Cases. In addition, there may be opportunities to undertake hearings in substantive Housing Condition Cases and providing advice to fee earning staff on cases. There is the opportunity to assist in drafting of PoCs. Brief synopsis of role To undertake advocacy requirements. To undertake drafting tasks as required, such as advices (formal and informal), pleadings and skeleton arguments. To keep up to date with procedural changes, case law and developments in legislation. To ensure the provision of a high-quality advocacy service. To undertake drafting tasks as required, such as Pleadings, advices and skeleton arguments. Personal Skills The role would suit a qualified barrister or experience solicitor with Higher Rights. A good communicator with excellent attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage a diverse audience. A high level ability to think critically. To have good knowledge of the law relating to housing conditions (s 9/10/11 of the Landlord and Tenant Act). Good organisational skills; able to manage own time effectively. Professional standards. Confident, dynamic and with a desire to succeed IT literate, good typing skills.
