In House Legal Adviser

THE ROLE A fantastic opportunity for an experienced lawyer with a strong foundation in commercial/contracts law, seeking a challenging in-house role, to join a rapidly growing business. You will be a part of and help to shape a small but dedicated legal team, reporting directly to the GC but working closely and directly with the different offices, business teams and functions. The role will involve the provision of legal support in the negotiation, drafting, and review of commercial contracts, as well as advising on various legal matters related to the research and professional services industry. Duties will include: Contract review and negotiation, Compliance, Data Protection, Intellectual Property, Risk Management, M&A Support, Corporate governance. ABOUT YOU UK or Commonwealth qualified solicitor 3PQE+ ideally including in-house or secondment experience. Strong commercial/contract law experience but with the attitude and breadth of experience to be able to support the business more widely. Enthusiasm for developing a deep understanding of the business and playing a role in supporting its key strategic initiatives.
