Day Rate: �100 - �115 per day
Contract: Long-term to permanent
Role Type: Part time, 3 days per week - Monday, Tuesday & Thursday
Working Hours: 8:15am - 3:45pm

About the Role
Long Term Futures are seeking a dedicated and experienced Inclusion Coordinator to join a secondary school on a part-time basis (Monday, Tuesday & Thursday). This role will require you to support students outside of the mainstream classroom, in the school's inclusion space, meaning that behaviour management and an understanding of student needs is essential.
This role will be in place until the end of the academic year, with the view to secure a permanent role directly with the school after this.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide behaviour management and de-escalation support for students who have been removed from mainstream classrooms.
- Work closely with students displaying challenging behaviours.
- Implement effective behaviour strategies to promote positive engagement and self-regulation.
- Maintain a strong presence, forming respect and discipline while being approachable and understanding.
- Build trusting relationships with students to support their emotional and behavioural needs.
- Collaborate with staff to ensure consistency in behaviour expectations and interventions.
What We're Looking For:
- Prior experience in a similar / relevant role - dealing with challenging behaviours.
- Understanding of the particular needs of vulnerable students including those associated with behavioural, emotional and social difficulties.
- Ability to plan, implement and monitor strategies and interventions.
- Ability to work 1:1 and with small groups of students in order to support their wellbeing and behavioural needs.
