This growing manufacturing business that produces specialist components for the automotive sector, are looking to attract a Buyer into the purchasing team who will focus on the sites indirect spend of £2m.

The purpose of this role is to enable the business to procure goods and services in a cost-effective way, whilst managing commercial terms the supply risks to the business.

Reporting to the Senior Buyer, the Indirect Buyer will: -

Develop procurement policies for areas such as factory consumables, professional services, health and safety, PPE and CAPEX.
Develop spend analytics to allow good financial decision making.
Manage key suppliers and manage consignment stocks for factory use.
Develop strong relationships with suppliers.
Lead sourcing activities and manage direct negotiations.
Develop category strategies.The successful Indirect Buyer will: -

Have procurement experience gained with indirect spends.
Be a confident negotiator.
Have the ability to develop communication channels with internal stakeholders.
Be able to build strong supplier relationships and communication methods.On offer: -

A salary circa £35,000
