Indirect Sourcing Manager

Main Purpose of the Job: Act as a Business Partner to various Alliance departments who hold budgetary responsibility for ~£50 Million Indirect Spend Categories.Ensure that Indirect goods and/or services are procured in an efficient, professional, ethical & cost-effective manner.Key Responsibilities:Sourcing Management of the ~£50 Million Alliance Indirect Spend Category Globally.Lead and manage internal cross-functional teams to successfully execute and implement strategic sourcing initiatives within Alliance’s Indirect sourcing pipelineEnsure internal alignment by providing commercial support to key stakeholders, from the budgeting process through to ongoing management of Alliance supply partners.Collaboratively manage the CMO Sourcing, benchmarking and selection process with Key Stakeholders.Formulate and implement multi-year category sourcing strategies which are aligned to internal business requirements, advising stakeholders on Supply Network Capabilities, market supply/pricing trends and Supplier best practices.Identify cost savings opportunities & liaise with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver the necessary change to achieve them, whilst maintaining supply reliabilityNegotiate and maintain robust supply contracts which meet Alliance business requirements to maintain competitive, ethical and sustainable supply whilst mitigating risk.Responsible for the ongoing management of supplier performance versus agreed Key Performance Indicators for defined Alliance Supply Partners, to drive continuous improvement across the indirect supply baseMonitor organisational compliance versus policies (including the Indirect Procurement Policy) and procure-to-pay processes.Work with Finance Business Partners, ensure that ongoing savings reporting and tracking is robust and accurateActively collaborate as part of a multi-regional Global Sourcing organization to optimize value delivery across the Alliance business.Own, develop and submit appropriate network sourcing strategies identifying relevant risks & opportunities for approval by business stakeholders..Lead or assist in optimizing sourcing processes and procedures to improve their efficiency and effectiveness.Lead/support business compliance projects (i.E. Sustainability, Know Your Supplier) or business growth projects by providing Sourcing inputs to M& A DD Projects (or other initiatives) as required.Line-management of Indirect Sourcing team members as it develops and expandsLead or contribute to other relevant ad-hoc projects as appropriate.
