We are looking for a dedicated Industrial Cleaner to join our client's�team at an Industrial Waste Processing plant in Surrey. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining high standards of housekeeping and plant cleanliness. The primary responsibility is to ensure a clean and safe environment for all employees and visitors.

Responsibilities:

• Utilise industrial power hoses and shovels to effectively clean general waste and maintain overall cleanliness of the site.


• Adhere strictly to safety protocols and guidelines, prioritising the well-being of oneself and others within the working environment.


• Follow designated cleaning schedules to consistently maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the plant.


• Assist in inspecting and maintaining cleaning equipment to ensure proper functioning and longevity.


• Collaborate with team members to identify areas that require specialised cleaning or repairs.


• Support the implementation of waste management procedures to optimise operational efficiency.


• Minimise the build-up of dust and foreign materials on all floor spaces and apparatus surfaces.


• Ensure all cleaning apparatus is maintained in a clean state.


• Operate all cleaning tools in a safe and thoughtful manner.


• Report any electrical or mechanical defects found on cleaning apparatus employed.

Requirements:

• Must be physically fit and capable of performing manual labour tasks, including operating industrial power hoses and shovels.


• Understanding of health and safety regulations.


• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently.


• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.


• Excellent time management and organisational skills.

• Location:� Upper Halliford


• Type:�Full-time, 6-month contract


• Hours:�Monday to Thursday (7:00 AM to 5:00 PM), Fridays (7:00 AM to 3:00 PM)


• Hourly Rate:��11.80 per hour
