Overview:
CBW are looking for a dedicated Industrial Cleaner to join our client in Sittingbourne. The role involves manual cleaning tasks within an industrial environment, including the use of high-pressure jet washers and shoveling debris. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working in similar environments and be physically capable of performing demanding tasks efficiently and safely.
Key Responsibilities:

• \nHigh-Pressure Jet Washing: Operate high-pressure jet washing equipment to clean machinery, equipment, and surfaces in industrial settings.
\n
• \nDebris Removal: Shovel and remove debris from floors, workspaces, and outdoor areas, ensuring the site is clean and free from hazards.
\n
• \nGeneral Industrial Cleaning: Perform general cleaning tasks in the facility, including washing down machinery, cleaning floors, and clearing waste.
\n
• \nWaste Disposal: Properly dispose of debris and waste materials in line with company policies and environmental regulations.
\n
• \nHealth & Safety Compliance: Follow all health and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues.
\n
• \nRoutine Inspections: Check equipment and work areas for cleanliness, making necessary adjustments to maintain high standards.
\n

Requirements:

\n
• \nPrevious Experience: Previous hands-on experience in an industrial cleaning or manual labor role, including the use of high-pressure washing equipment.
\n
• \nDriver’s License: A full, valid UK driving licence (manual transmission preferred).
\n
• \nPhysical Capability: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, shoveling debris, and operating heavy equipment.
\n
• \nAttention to Detail: A keen eye for cleanliness and the ability to follow procedures precisely.
\n
• \nHealth & Safety Awareness: Understanding of and commitment to adhering to health and safety guidelines in an industrial setting.
\n
• \nReliability: Strong work ethic and dependability with a focus on getting the job done efficiently.
