Industrial Electrical Technician

Electricians needed for ongoing civils framework. Experience of industrials or water would be desirable. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain and repair electrical systems and equipment


•  Perform routine inspections, troubleshoot electrical systems and diagnose faults in a timely manner


• Work on high-voltage systems, circuit boards, transformers and control panels


• Ensure all electrical work complies with industry standards, health and safety regulations, electrical solutions


• Collaborate with engineers and other team members to develop and implement efficient electrical solutions


• Document and report all completed tasks, including maintenance and service logs


• Provide support in emergency situations and adhere to operational timelines 

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Electrician within an industrial or water environment


• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring diagrams, and schematics


• Experience with PLCs, SCADA systems, and instrumentation is highly advantageous


• Ability to work with high-voltage electrical systems and a good understanding of water treatment systems


• Valid Electrical qualitfications (e.g. City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)


• Electrical installation and maintenance experience, ideally within an industrial or water sector


• Full UK driving license


• Strong problem solving skills and the ability to work independently or within a team


• Good communication skills and attention to detail
