Industrial Electrician

Industrial Electrician - Inverness - Up to �49,000

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Electrician to join our team in Inverness. This is a great opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on both planned and reactive maintenance, alongside continuous improvement projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform electrical maintenance to keep equipment running smoothly
• Provide call-out cover during breakdowns (on-call rota)
• Assist with installing and commissioning new equipment
• Support operational efficiency through 6S improvements
• Ensure compliance with safety, electrical, and mechanical regulations
• Maintain cleanliness and engineering hygiene on-site

Skills & Experience:

• Experience in electrical fault-finding, installation, and inspection
• Knowledge of PLC systems and material handling (conveyors, elevators)
• Strong mechanical knowledge (motors, drives, gearboxes)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexible and reliable for on-call and shift work

Qualifications:

• Recognised electrical apprenticeship
• Formal electrical qualification
• Knowledge of ATEX regulations (desirable)

Shift & On-Call:

• Monday to Friday, 8 am - 4:30 pm (30-min unpaid break)
• On-call rota (one week in four)
• 12-hour shifts during peak periods
